1. The one cookie

Records which language the page was loaded in — its content is the language code, so “de”, “en”, “es” or “nl”. Nothing else is in it. It is a session cookie and expires as soon as you close your browser. It does not allow you to be recognised and it is not sent to anyone.

2. No other cookies

There are no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no third-party cookies. The website includes no analytics tool — neither Google Analytics nor Tag Manager nor anything comparable — and loads nothing from other people’s servers when you arrive.

That is also why there is no cookie banner. It would have nothing to ask: a strictly necessary cookie may be set without consent, and no other cookie is set.

3. If you want rid of it anyway

Every browser can block or delete cookies; the setting sits under “Privacy” or “Site settings”. This website works perfectly well without the cookie — the language is in the address (/es, /nl), not in the cookie.
